Development and Validation of a Virtual Reality Assessment of Personality and Cognitive Ability

The current project is centered around five main goals: (1) identifying reliable performance indicators for diverse roles within military organizations; (2) creating test content for VR-based evaluations of these indicators and programming the VR setting; (3) executing an initial trial and construct validation study for the VR-based evaluations; (4) carrying out a series of criterion-validation studies to fine-tune the VR-based assessment system according to different military roles and performance standards; (5) deploying the VR-based evaluations across a broad military demographic and completing the validation process through a field population study.
